Minister of Sports and Creative Industries Dwayne George is reiterating that football and cricket are returning to the historic Antigua Recreation Grounds (ARG).

The decision was taken by the Cabinet of Antigua and Barbuda in June, following discussions that involved the cricket and football associations.

Minister Dwayne George said currently, nothing is standing in the way of the games returning to ARG, adding, the ABFA, once prepared, will host their September – December domestic season there.

He also stressed the importance of coordinated scheduling between the two associations to avoid disruptions.
