Shawn Jones, 39, was laid to rest on Monday after a tragic accident while delivering Christmas hams and turkeys on December 19. The incident in Herberts occurred when his truck skidded and flipped, pinning him underneath.
First responders used the Jaws of Life to free him, but he succumbed to critical chest and head injuries. Loved ones, including his common-law wife and five sons, gathered to pay their respects. The government covered the funeral expenses.
