    OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM SIR LESTER BIRD MEDICAL CENTRE

    Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre (SLBMC) is aware of the video currently circulating on social media regarding the tragic loss of an infant at our institution.

    We recognize that this is an incredibly difficult time for the child’s family, and we extend our deepest sympathies to them as they grieve this heartbreaking loss.

    We are investigating the circumstances surrounding this matter. However, in order to respect patient confidentiality and ensure the integrity of that process, we are unable to comment on specific clinical details at this time.

    We appreciate the public’s understanding as we continue to handle this matter with the care, sensitivity, and professionalism it deserves.
