The sentencing of Shadesha Phillip, who pleaded guilty to an attempted robbery at Golden Grove Service Station, has been delayed until July 15.
Justice Tunde Bakre postponed proceedings to allow time for review of Phillip’s probation report. The Gray’s Farm resident remains on bail.
The incident occurred on June 24, 2021, when Phillip and a masked accomplice attempted to rob a female pump attendant. A police response led to a shootout, during which Phillip was shot in the leg and treated at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.
Her accomplice remains at large.
