The Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) says work is nearing completion on the 600,000-imperial-gallon Buckley Storage Tank, which is expected to come online by mid-September.
The new facility will increase the reliability of water distribution across communities stretching from Buckleys to Horsford Hill, according to APUA.
Engineers are currently carrying out final checks and adjustments to ensure the tank is fully operational in time for its official commissioning.
APUA says the investment forms part of its wider strategy to improve water storage capacity and strengthen delivery across Antigua and Barbuda.
Once operational, the Buckley Storage Tank is expected to help address supply challenges in the area, providing residents with a more consistent and secure water service.
