ST. JOHN’S, Antigua — Authorities confirmed Tuesday that an autopsy has been completed on the body of a tourist who was discovered dead in the Marmora area earlier this month.
The post-mortem was conducted at the Holberton Hospital Morgue after receiving authorization from the Coroner. A pathologist assigned to the case began the examination late Monday morning.
Officials proceeded with the procedure in their absence.
Further details on the cause of death have not yet been released.
