The Caribbean media fraternity has today lost one of its most cherished voices.

Nathaniel “Nat Moses” Francis, renowned for his rich baritone and widely recognised across radio stations in the region, passed away last night.

A veteran broadcaster, Moses captivated audiences whether covering national events or hosting his popular late-night shows, where he spun love ballads that became a staple for listeners. He worked at several prominent stations, including Gem Radio and Radio Antilles in Montserrat, as well as Radio ZDK in Antigua.

Moses also occasionally joined ABS Radio and Television broadcasts to cover major national events. Beyond broadcasting, he ventured into politics, winning a seat for the opposition UPP in the 1994 general elections.

Tributes have highlighted his dedication and pioneering contributions to radio in the Caribbean. ABS has said it will continue to share more about the life and work of the beloved broadcaster.
