From Hon. Daryll MatthewRepresentative for St. John’s Rural South

As we observe World Mental Health Day, I join with the people of Antigua and Barbuda, especially the residents of St. John’s Rural South,in reaffirming our commitment to care for one another.

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Gaston Browne, the Government of Antigua and Barbuda continues to strengthen access to mental health care through expanded community services, counselling in schools, and improved healthcare infrastructure.

These efforts ensure that support is available when and where it’s needed most.

Mental health affects every family and every home.

Let us continue building a nation where seeking help is seen as strength, where compassion replaces judgment, and where no one feels alone in their struggle.

Together, let us move forward with unity, healing, and hope, for a stronger, more caring Antigua and Barbuda.
