Prime Minister Gaston Browne says the government will auction off any excess vehicles found during the ongoing audit of the government’s fleet.

In a statement posted on Facebook, Browne said that once the audit and reassignment process is complete, the government will “right size the fleet,” and “any excess vehicles, that were not properly assigned will be sold at public auction.”

The announcement follows Browne’s earlier disclosure that one car dealer has agreed to repay $10 million to the government as part of efforts to recover funds tied to the controversial vehicle procurement.

The audit aims to account for all vehicles purchased in recent years, verify assignments across ministries, and ensure transparency in government asset management.
