According to reports, a 16-year-old boy lost control of his mother’s vehicle and slammed into a tree shortly after 6 o’clock Friday evening. It is said that the teenager had taken the car without his mother’s knowledge.

The young driver and another 16-year-old male passenger were reportedly injured in the crash. Both were taken to hospital for treatment, with the driver reported to have sustained the more serious injuries.
