A contingent of officers from the Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) has been deployed to Antigua and Barbuda to assist with security preparations for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), scheduled for November 1-4, 2026.

The officers are working alongside the Regional Security System (RSS) as part of a coordinated regional effort to ensure the safety and security of delegates, dignitaries and other participants attending the international gathering.

The deployment underscores the commitment of St. Vincent and the Grenadines to regional cooperation, professional policing and collective security.

The RSVGPF said its participation reflects a shared responsibility among Caribbean nations to support major regional and international events.

The force emphasized the spirit of Caribbean unity behind the deployment, declaring: “One region, one commitment, working together for a safer Caribbean.”

Antigua and Barbuda is preparing to host heads of government and other high-level representatives from across the Commonwealth during the four-day meeting.
