Conference Drive has reopened to motorists following the completion of road improvement works aimed at providing a smoother and faster journey for commuters in the area.

The roadway has been upgraded with a durable concrete carriageway designed to improve road conditions and provide a more resilient surface for motorists.

The improvements are expected to benefit residents and drivers travelling between New Winthorpes and the communities of Royal Gardens, Cedar Grove and Hodges Bay.

The upgraded road is also expected to improve connectivity between these communities, making daily travel more convenient for motorists using the route.

The reopening forms part of ongoing efforts to improve road infrastructure across Antigua and Barbuda, with a focus on creating more reliable and durable road networks.

The announcement was shared under the hashtags #BetterRoads, #WorksOnTheMove and #PanDeWuk, highlighting the continuing road improvement efforts.
