This is a Tsunami Information Statement to inform the public and authorities that, based on current data, there is no tsunami threat to Antigua and Barbuda following the recent seismic activity.

### Preliminary Earthquake Parameters:

* **Magnitude** : 6.8

* **Origin Time and Date** : 10:10 AST (1410 UTC) April 3, 2025

* **Coordinates** : 52.7° North, 32.1° West

* **Depth** : 19 km / 12 miles

* **Location** : Reykjanes Ridge, Atlantic

### Evaluation:

An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.8 occurred in the Northern Atlantic at 10:10 am on Thursday, April 03, 2025.

Based on all available data, there is no significant tsunami threat from this earthquake. However, there is a very small possibility of tsunami waves along the Atlantic coasts located nearest the epicentre.
