Two men accused in separate gun-related incidents have been committed to stand trial at the September 2025 Criminal Assizes in Antigua and Barbuda.

Reuben Forde of Upper Gambles faces multiple charges stemming from a March 24, 2024, shooting in Lower All Saints Road.

He is accused of unlawfully shooting Dwayne DeSilver with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, discharging a firearm in public, and illegal possession of two unlicensed guns—a Bryco Jennings .380 pistol and a Colt .36 revolver.

Landre Williams of Villa is charged in relation to a September 11, 2024, incident on Hans Street. Police allege he unlawfully wounded Zahvante Hill with intent to cause grievous harm and attempted murder.

He also reportedly possessed a modified flare gun and one .32 round of ammunition without a firearms licence.

Both cases were referred by the magistrate’s court for trial at the High Court.
