**Antigua and Barbuda Joins Ranks of Caribbean’s Wealthiest Nations**

**ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA** – Antigua and Barbuda has been ranked among the seven richest countries in the Caribbean, placing sixth with a GDP per capita of US$18,745 in 2024.

The ranking, compiled from recent economic data by Global Citizen Solutions, Mirabello Consultant, and Best Citizenship, highlights the nation’s growing appeal to affluent travelers and investors through its Citizenship by Investment Programme and robust tourism industry.

Topping the list is Bermuda, with a staggering GDP per capita of over US$120,000, followed by the Cayman Islands at over US$85,000.

The Bahamas (US$32,000) and the US Virgin Islands (US$30,000) also ranked ahead, benefiting from strong financial sectors and high-end tourism.

St. Kitts and Nevis, at US$20,000, edged out Antigua and Barbuda slightly, thanks in part to similar tax-friendly policies and tourism-driven revenue.

Despite trailing the top five, Antigua and Barbuda remains one of the most accessible Caribbean nations for high-net-worth individuals seeking second citizenship.

The country’s visa-free travel incentives and investor-friendly environment have drawn considerable capital inflows. St. Lucia rounds out the list with a GDP per capita of US$15,000, making Antigua and Barbuda notably stronger in comparison.

With no personal income or wealth taxes and continued investment in upscale resorts and services, Antigua and Barbuda continues to blend natural beauty with economic opportunity, securing its status as a destination where luxury and prosperity converge.
