The police are appealing to business owners across the island to remain on high alert and exercise extra caution, following a recent robbery incident in which an individual was attacked while attempting to make a deposit at a local financial institution.

To enhance everyone’s safety, business operators are encouraged to adopt more discreet and secure methods for transporting and depositing daily earnings. Avoiding routine deposit schedules and utilizing available security services can significantly reduce the risk of becoming a target.

Additionally, proprietors are strongly advised to invest in reliable security systems, including surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and proper lighting around their business premises to enhance safety and deter criminal activity.

The police have since increased patrols and surveillance around banks and other financial institutions to provide added security and reassurance to the public.
