ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka will establish formal diplomatic relations with Antigua and Barbuda, a Caribbean country, minister Nalinda Jayatissa said.
The cabinet approved the proposal to establish of diplomatic relations between Sri Lanka and Antigua and Barbuda, “with a view to achieving mutual benefits for both countries,” Jayatissa told reporters.
Sri Lanka has established formal diplomatic relations with 13 countries in the Latin American and Caribbean region and has visa free access to some of them. (Colombo/Sep4/2025)
