A 24-year-old mother from Nut Grove and a man from Gray’s Farm have appeared in court accused of attempting to pass a forged cheque.
The pair were granted bail of $10,000 each, with $1,000 cash deposits and two sureties required.
The woman must surrender her passport, while her co-accused is barred from applying for one.
Both must report to Gray’s Farm Police Station three times a week.
The case, which will be sent to the High Court for trial, has been adjourned to 16 December. The value of the cheque has not yet been disclosed.
