According to **Director General of Communications Maurice Merchant**, the finalists were chosen following a rigorous evaluation process by a judging panel representing the **Government of Antigua and Barbuda**, the **Commonwealth Secretariat**, and **branding specialists**.

Merchant said the official launch of the winning logo will take place on **November 4** at **Sandals Grande Antigua**, where **Prime Minister Gaston Browne** and **Commonwealth Secretary-General Patricia Scotland** will unveil the final design.

He noted that the competition reflects Antigua and Barbuda’s commitment to celebrating **youth innovation and artistic expression** as the nation prepares to host CHOGM 2026 — one of the most significant diplomatic gatherings in the Commonwealth calendar.

“Out of 141 submissions, three finalists—all women—have been shortlisted for the CHOGM 2026 logo competition,” Merchant said, adding that the final reveal event will highlight “the creativity, culture, and forward-looking spirit of Antigua and Barbuda.”
