The Antigua Barbuda Hotels and Tourism Association – ABHTA, in partnership with The Wedding Planners Institute of Canada (WPIC), recently hosted the WPIC Wedding Planner & Coordinator Certification Course at The Antigua & Barbuda Hospitality Training Institute. This was the first time the course was facilitated in Antigua by the esteemed Tracey Manailescu, Co-Founder of WPIC.
The two-day session was designed for both aspiring wedding professionals and seasoned experts. Tracy equipped participants with the essential tools and strategies to become skilled Wedding Planners, Consultants, and Coordinators, empowering them to excel in the dynamic wedding industry.
Attendees participated in discussions, interactive sessions, and a group assignment to create a wedding proposal. They also completed various tests and each awarded a WPIC Certification Pin in recognition of their dedication.
Next up is the final online WPIC exam. Once successful, candidates will earn their official WPIC Certification and digital badge!
